"sacred spaces"

spaces are sacred to me

for these are the places

where i am safe to just be

for every space i can go

my heart can grow

i am so grateful for these spaces

to spread my roots

like a tree

i am free

in my bath

on my balcony

these are my sacred spaces

where i go to be free

sacred spaces

just for me

perhaps my favorite space

is outside in nature

for in nature i can see

the beauty of the Trinity...

i feel Father's strength in the trees

the Son's embrace as the s.u.n

touches my face

Holy Spirit's touch of peace

as a hummingbird helps me to release

as i watch it's wings move so fast

i forget the past

the beauty of the present moment captures my attention

and takes my breath away

and this is where i want to stay

sacred spaces

where i go to be free

just to be me, light and free little lee

no place i would rather be

than dancing in the space of Your grace

and Your Hand upon my face

as You meet me here again

in our sacred space
